It’s been an interesting week. First thing Monday morning I broke a toe. It’s just a silly little toe, but it’s mine and it hurt! The swelling went down finally although it’s still black and blue and a little bit sore. I ended the week with a colonoscopy. Can we talk about joy here?
There’s nothing I like more than going a day without eating and then spending quality time in my bathroom. But, I’d like to remind everyone that it’s a necessary screening process for nasty things. And during the procedure I got fifteen minutes of the best sleep in my life.
I ended the week with a sleepover with my nine-year-old granddaughter who told me that Carla Cassidy is her most favoritest author. Ah, the pleasure of brainwashing!
My best news is that my newest book is now out on the stands. His Case, Her Baby is a Silhouette Romantic Suspense and the first book in a four-book series about a family of lawmen in a small town called Black Rock.
I’m also working on a new book for Harlequin Intrigue and playing around with another romantic suspense idea. Hopefully I’ve had enough of real life this week and can now lose myself in my writing!
Here’s to love and a little fantasy finding their way to all of you! Thanks for stopping by.
